Why I Love You
I believe that the highest and purest form of Love simply consists of Being there. Being there for the other as simple presence, without prejudice, judgment or thoughts about the other. Being there, with openness, patience and care. Being there radiates Love and brings people together.
In the years that we have been together, quite a few tough things have happened in my family. But coming home from them, there was always you. You were there, silently comforting me, with a hug or a kiss. You were there, listening to my troubled thoughts. You were there, open, patient and caring. You were there, radiating Love.
And there were great times in the past years - great times in abundance. Travelling together, photo-hunting nearby or far away, working in the garden every weekend. Saying "pagi" in the mornings, making Indomie for breakfast in the weekends. Great times in which we shared the joy of our lives together. You were there, smiling, singing, making me happy. Radiating Love.
I feel I am blessed that we met, that you waited for me, that you moved your life across half the world to be with me. And I want to be worthy of your love by returning it in the same way, by being there for you, radiating Love.
Therefore, I am proud to be with you here today, to confirm our love and continue our life together.
